1. Who we are
Sportdico ("we", "our", "us") operates the website sportdico.com — a football tips and match‑prediction platform. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@sportdico.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — email address and hashed password when you register.
- Subscription data — payment method type, plan tier (Free / Pro) and renewal dates. We do not store full card numbers; these are handled by our payment processors (see §4).
- Usage data — pages visited, features used and session duration, collected automatically via analytics (see §4).
- Device & log data — browser type, IP address, referring URL and error logs.
- Telegram ID — only if you voluntarily connect your Telegram account for notifications.
3. How we use your data
- To create and manage your account and subscription.
- To deliver the predictions, tips and notifications you signed up for.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To improve the platform — analysing which features are used most.
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To send transactional emails (e.g. account confirmation, password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
4. Third‑party services
We use the following sub‑processors. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in (a secure, HTTP‑only session cookie managed by Supabase). We also use first‑party analytics cookies via PostHog, which are anonymised and do not track you across other websites. You can disable cookies in your browser; the predictions and public content remain accessible without them.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (e.g. payment records for 7 years under UK/EU VAT rules).
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@sportdico.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. We conduct regular reviews of access controls and third‑party integrations.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
