Anytime Goalscorer Predictions

Anytime Goalscorer (AGS) wins if your chosen player scores at any point in the match — first goal, second goal, penalty, own goal (usually excluded) or last-minute leveller. Unlike First Goalscorer, the player doesn't need to open the scoring; they just need to be on the scoresheet before full time. Because AGS removes the order restriction, odds are considerably shorter than First Goalscorer. A striker who scores in 50% of his starts might be priced at 2.20–2.80 for AGS and 6.00–9.00 for FGS. Top strikers for dominant clubs in one-sided home fixtures can be as low as 1.50–1.80 for AGS. The model required for AGS is essentially: P(player scores ≥ 1 goal in match) = 1 − P(player scores 0 goals). This is a modified version of the team-level BTTS calculation but at player level, requiring shot volume and conversion rate data. Players who play full matches and take set pieces or penalties have the highest AGS probability per game.
