All markets โ†’
The HT/FT (Half-Time / Full-Time) market asks you to predict two things at once: the result at the end of the first half AND the result at the final whistle. There are nine possible combinations โ€” for example, Draw/Home Win (level at HT, home team wins FT), or Away/Away (away team leads at HT and holds on to win). This multiplied difficulty makes HT/FT odds among the highest available for standard match markets. The most commonly backed HT/FT combination is Home/Home โ€” the home side leads at half time and wins the game. It occurs in roughly 25โ€“30% of matches where the home team eventually wins. Draw/Home is the next most common for home wins, reflecting games where the home team equalises and then finds a winner. HT/FT betting requires modelling both halves independently, which is significantly more complex than standard 1X2 prediction. Sportdico's pipeline models full-time outcomes. We are developing first-half specific scoring distributions to enable HT/FT tips. When available, this market will surface on high-confidence match pages first, then here as a dedicated daily list.

Frequently asked questions about Half-Time / Full-Time

What does HT/FT mean in football betting?

HT/FT stands for Half-Time / Full-Time. You predict the match result at the break AND at the final whistle in a single bet. For example, Draw/Home Win means level at HT, home team wins FT.

Which HT/FT combination is most common?

Home/Home โ€” the home team leads at HT and wins at FT โ€” is the most frequent in top leagues where home advantage is significant. Draw/Home is second most common for eventual home wins.

Why are HT/FT odds so high?

You're combining two separate predictions into one bet. The probability of both being correct is lower than either alone, so bookmakers offer significantly higher odds โ€” often 3x to 15x for common combinations.

Are HT/FT comebacks (e.g. Away/Home) worth betting?

Comeback results like Home/Away or Away/Home are rare (under 10% each) but well-priced. They're most plausible in cup ties, games with suspected rotation, or after early red cards.
